Jeff,

I bought the router top on sale a little over a year ago at the Japan Woodworkers store for $75.  It normally sold for $120.00.  One birch plywood sheet was $40 and the miscellaneous 2x4 stock was maybe $20.  The router was the most expensive piece and it was $180.  So I'd say I have a little ofer $300 invested in the router table.  I just finished making the fence for the table and it turned out reall nice.

I have been making picture frames and a quilt hanger from wood I have milled and the table with the new fence worked great.  I'll post some pictures of the fence that I made from aluminum.

After building my router table I started making the fence this past week. I was using the table top I made as an assembly table and found that the coats of paste floor wax I put on the top kept the excess glue from sticking to the top. I think I'm going to really like the table top. I'll be gluing and clamping the rest of the fence together on Monday. jerry-

Thanks Dave, I got the plans from WOOD Magazine and just modified the dust collection to my liking. Just got back from a two week vacation, so I'll get back to the router table soon. jerry-

Very nice, Jerry. I'm just starting to build a new router table with enclosed cabinet and such. Your dust collection setup and table in general have given me some GREAT ideas.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
