I have just spent the last month building this dolls house for my grandaughter.
Its a replica of my sons home in Sydney.
I thought I could knock it up over a weekend, not realising just how much work goes into to something that small, and that's not including all the prototyping, or the templates for all the different windows.
I was an interesting task in discovering making minature wood work pieces and finding other items and remoulding them into different roles

Thanks again Al,
I was not too sure about posting it here (being a definite lack of Kreg Screws used here) but in the interests of sharing decided to do so anyway.
It was a bit challenging making something so complex then designing it to be able to be dismantled and played with by little kids.
If I am and its still around in her teen years I will be interested to hear just exactly what she thought of it as a little girl.
I know we as adults think its great and possibly "over engineered" (and a weird colour) for a Dolls house, but I found it a challenge to make as I used just about every other tool in its production.
Enjoying every part of it as well, maybe not the fiddly painting so much.
Its also on Lumberjocks as a blog being built, which I would think more appropiate, but it was a share post @ kreg.
"Wow Rob" you have done an outstanding job, I really like the detail you have put into the doll house. looks terrific, I'm sure that your grand-daughter will love it.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…

Several months ago, I purchased the Kreg K4MS so that I could build the Lego Table as outlined on the companion "buildsomething" web site which exclusively uses pocket hole construction. I have considerable experience with conventional…
