Computer Monitor Stand

Finally had the opportunity to use my 1/2" KREG tool today, for building a computer monitor stand made from left over wood flooring. I found that the wood that is bonded to the hardwood surface is very porous and required me to back the stop color for the drill bit back an additional 1/16" to keep from driving the screws through the side of the wood. Also setting the drill drive to the lowest setting helped. The finish on the wood is very nice and very durable. My brother is giving it to his office assistant for her computer monitor. Now she can take the Granger catalog out from under her monitor.
