This project was to build a Boot and Shoe Armoire or cabinet, if you prefer.
I started this project to provide a storage space for my boots and shoes so I used half-inch birch plywood and pine lumber to make the door and the edging or face on the plywood carcass. I also used quarter inch Luanne plywood for the back, and door all joints were made using the Kreg jig. The only nails used on this project were three-quarter inch Brad nails, to attach the back piece of plywood. All other joints and abutments were created using the Kreg jig. I did not use any glue or nails, other than mentioned above. I am now in the process of creating standout silhouettes of boots and shoes to place on the front door of the armoire and the lower section of drawers at the top of the armoire will set on. Being that I am a bachelor. There will be no other thrills and spills to apply to this project, because the only person I have to please with this project is myself.
