my first pocket hole only panel. Very tight, strong joints. Kind of imperfect because I don't own a jointer.

It was just barely enough....it was reaching across a 1 x 4 and just did work. The Kreg Klamps are awesome, but expensive. I have to really either need something done, run up on a good deal, or get a gift to expand my Kreg collection right now. That's one of the things next on my list. Basically what happened is about 2 months ago someone walked into my garage and took about 800.00 worth of my power tools. Instead of replacing some of the things that I didn't use much, I invested in Kreg jig and clamps. Now I'm back to working with what I have again. Maybe if I can sell a few jobs I can expand.
By the way - the bench klamp is AWESOME. I love it. Nothing clamps a joint flatter and tighter than this thing. I actually bought an extra plate and installed it into the table so I can move my clamp around.

Good to see you using the Bench Klamp. Was the reach on that long enough to hold down the joint? If not, or when you ever do a larger panel clamp-up, you might want to look into our "Large Bench Klamp" which features a 6" reach instead of 3". http://www.kregtool.com/products/pht/product.php?PRODUCT_ID=8

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
