Depends on how close you live to Knoxville TN (UT). Everything there in every store is orange! LOL
You could do a gray stain and paint orange accents or trim.

Hey, I like the idea of painting to match the sanders. I also am biased toward seeing the grain. I wonder if I could find an orange stain??? :-)

I have only built one shop cabinet and it currently is still lacking two drawers lol. Everything in the shop that isn't finished gets so dusty and dirty looking. So I guess finishing in some way is best. I have always liked to see the wood grain so I am bias. This also would look really good painted to match your sanders though. It would look like the expensive branded cabinets.

Kim, do you think that I should put a finish on it? What would you recommend? BTW: I got lazy with this piece with the exposed fasteners.....wanted to get it done quickly!
