A very interesting project, are you going somewhere and haven't let on?
The Casket lid, (and that's the most important part, as you would not want them to come off) is of particular interest, as its difficult to see in the photos how you made the edges and sides to match so well. Would you mind explaining the process?
I also made a coffin a few months ago, but it didnt go down well with the family, so I use it to store my router bits in.
Incidental I had fun making it as the angles and curves made you think outside the normal 45/90 Box.
