Thats an awesome link.  Thanks Jens

Jens, this is a very nice link for wood and a great time saver to compare wood prices with.

One I have used frequently  for exotic woods and not only for availability.  Since the wood is pictured in vidid color and gain photos, I often use it to identify a certain type of wood for a customer  and it does have a up to date price list.  This is the link.

http://www.cookwoods.com/LumberPageMain.htm  This is Cook woods from Klamath Falls Oregon and they will ship to you at any location. For anyone whom is into doing inlay work and or just like to use a piece of exotic wood in a project this is where I would go to at least find the wood and get a idea as to the cost involved.  They also will provide a periodic e-mail to you giving you any specials they have and keep it up to date.  So far I have been able to find about any type wood you can imagine.  They also supply exotic turning woods for things like pens and small lathe blanks.

Thanks Jens for your link and maybe this one will also be of interest to some out there.

Thanks from both of you I guess I get to far in this internet at times but it is fun to locate good sites for friends in woodworking

Jay that was a great resource for wood. I just placed an order for some Curly Fiddleback Maple and Pau Rosa. No self control.                                            PAU ROSA
Will I know exactly what you mean.  I buy all of my exotic and special lumber from there.  They treat you well also and if you get on their e-mail list they will send you updated information and any specials they have.  I get frequent e-mail from them and they do their best to please you.  The site Jens  posted is also a super good place also.  I been poking around in that one also.
