Just thought I would start a discussion on woodworkers real jobs. It would be fun to no if there are lots of professional people using Kreg Jig along with people  like myself a retired  construction worker.

Howdy all, My name is George and I live in Lake Worth, FL. I am line foreman for AT&T, driving the big trucks and hooking poles. I am the resident handyman around my house, a 1956 CBS, and with this older house one project leads to another dozen. I have done basic carpentry, glazing, and roofing in the past, but now I mainly point a lot and file productivity reports...:( I have only completed the bookcase so far, but I am please with the results. I am looking forward to the other skill building projects before I tackle the kitchen cabinets. Or maybe I will do the laundry room cabinets first.. Seeing the work that other members are doing is doing is amazing.
Update on this: I'm no longer with the pharmacy supply company, but rather now with a military surplus company as their art director. I'm in a much happier place now!

Recently I was an art director for a pharmacy supply company. However, I switched over to being the art director for a military surplus/manufacturing company. Two stores are located in Iowa, and the other two are here in St. Paul/Minneapolis in Minnesota.

I'm also trying to become a published author of a political thriller novel. (wish me GREAT amounts of luck there)

I grew up in Wisconsin to a woodworking father, but didn't get into the hobby until early 2009. I saw an infomercial for the Kreg Jig and a new passion was born. Wait until you guys see my latest piece I'm working on. Details to come...

I visited your store a couple of weeks ago. Nice store, everyone was so helpful and asking me if I needed help. Not sure if I talked to you or not. I had flown in from Tampa for a couple of days and stopped by to purchase a couple of items and browse through the store.

I've been woodworking since I was about six ... after three plus decades in another profession, I now work at Rockler Woodworking and Hardware in Bridgeton, MO ... and in my own shop. If you are in the area, stop in ... I'm there 40 hours a week (at Rockler, that is).

Been using the Kreg Jig for a lot of years, and I highly recommend it. Once you've started you'll use the screws even when you aren't doing pocket holes. The folks at Kreg are great ... spent a little time in Huxley a few years back .. .and may stop there again this summer.

After 20+ years in retail, I have been selling newspaper advertising for 10 years, the past 4 specializing in real estate.NOT a smart combination of industries right now! At least things are not QUITE as bad for real estate in Texas, & even more here in Austin.

I also run a small online business, wolflodgeTX.com.
I am a ER/flight nurse. I work at a trauma one hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah and I work on a medical flight team based in Page AZ, covering Lake Powell, along of the Navajo reservation and down into the Grand Canyon. Best job in the world! I keep woodworking as a hobby so that it continues to be fun and not a job.

I am from DuBois, Pennsylvania and moved to Vineland, Ontario Canada in 1989. I served in the U.S. Marine Corps for ten years and got out started driving truck. I drive for John Deere Canada running parts to the USA everyday. Then home to do the honey "Do's" then if anytime wood working.
I cut grass for the borough of West Newton, Pennsylvania, and I am a library assistant for the Westmoreland County Community College. Both jobs are part time. I have two grand children, which I made step/sitting stools for them with the Kreg Jointer. It took me longer to finish them than to cut the wood and put them together. Construction is just too easy with the Kreg System. I have also made a beautiful DVD shelf and countless other shelves using the Kref System.

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
