Hi Mark, my name is Mike, where in wester NY are you?. My wife & I are just west of Rochester in the town of Gates.

I am a software developer. Computer Science degree in 1977. I have used punch cards at school and at work. Down here in New Iberia, LA. Music is my first love, woodworking a close second.
I live approx 45 min west of you in Newfane, that is in Niagara county. I have lived here also my whole life, except for two year in Watkins Glen, New York. I have been married for 10 years now and have three kids.

Hello Kreg-Jiggers

I am a housebound husband and son, getting close to retirement from a life of tooling, process and quality engineering in the automotive and mining industries, who is now caring for wife and mother that have various (serious) ailments.

Taking up woodworking in small garden potting shed when I came across a tatty (old) jig at a car boot sale a few weeks ago as I thought it would be useful to make shelving for various bits of accumulated lengths of timber and many years of accumulated "junk" that I don't want to throw away as I might need it tomorrow.

"May your joints be strong.

I'm Roger from Quebec, Qc, Canada

I am a picture framer, but above all I am a lover of the wood work.

I am an Airline Pilot. Every time I flick the 'on' switch on a power tool I remind myself that this is a dumb hobby for an airline pilot. I do it anyway because I reall enjoy it.
Nah! As long as you remember to switch off before your final approach...................
I'm a teacher although I grew up in construction and ran my own remodeling business for several years.

I live in Southern CA and I am an Emergency Room nurse, Trauma Unit, had some time off due to my daughter's illness, back in the saddle. The time off, really wasn't time off, My daughter needed a full time nurse, 24/7 and I wouldn't have it any other way :). I've worked 7p7a for 16+ years, and have always been a night person.

Woodworking is a great stress release .

Thanks again all for the stories.

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
