What screw length and tool depth should I use for 23/32 plywood

I purchased 23/32 stock plywood (which actually measures 11/16 inches) and I am having a hard time determining what should be the proper screw length.  1" seems a bit short and 1 1/4" seems a bit longer than I would like. Any suggestions?  Also, based on the 11/16" actual depth of the plywood, what setting should I place my K4 Kreg Jig at?

What I would suggest, from personal experience, is to use the settings for the thickness that the plywood is listed as. So in your case the plywood is known as 3/4" plywood. Set the for jig 3/4" and use 1-1/4" screws as recommended, with one slight adjustment. When setting the stop collar for the drill bit set it slightly shallower than the 3/4" markings. By moving the stop collar slightly closer it will drill a shallower hole making up for the slight thickness difference. As always I would recommend doing some tests on scrap of the material being joined.
