Looking for some advice. I have a 13 year old craftsman table saw that still runs well. My problem is the fence. It will not stay aligned. I don't want to buy a new saw and they no longer sell replacements. However they still sell parts for this. But I have no idea what could be wrong or what parts would need replacing. If anyone has any experience or ideas, I would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks Mike

What's anyone know about the FREE upgrades. they're offering?
(I saw some signage at a Rockler store).
Either an integrated rolling base or overarm dust extraction worth a couple bills.
You do need to drill a few holes but the table top is cast Iron. Easy drilling. Just drill the holes 1/16 oversize to give a litle wiggle room. No countersink needed.
If you can drill the CI top and use the existing c'snk holes in the Delta front frame, then you are right.
In my case some holes lined up with the ribs of the CI tops, so I had to drill the Delta front frame and c'sink that new hole, otherwise the fence would not slide.

I just installed a Vega fence on my 8 year old Craftsman table saw a few weeks ago. It is fantastic. Watch this video it's what convinced me to buy one once I also went to Amazon.com and read the reviews. I love it! www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_FE-KHeh2o

Others have raved about the Vega, better than the Delta, but you get what you pay for
thanks guys, I'll check this out
Mike,
Years ago, more than I care to remember, I had the same problem with my Craftsman Contractor Saw fence. I replaced it with a Mule Accusquare Rip Fence from, Mule Cabinetmakers-www.mulecab.com. It was easy to install and setup. Although the Craftsman is no longer my primary saw, after some 20 years the saw and fence still perform well. The fence comes in several models (sizes) depending on your needs. Might be worth checking out.

Hi. I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing. How effective is it? It's adaptable to any router table. Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
