Stain for baby crib and dress/changing table

Over the last 2 months I have built my first project which happens to be for my first baby. A crib and dress/changing table. Does anyone have any suggestions on what stain is the safest to use for baby furniture. I am looking for something waterbased and low VOC. I have attached a link so you can see what it is. Thanks for any insight.

The only thing I have noticed with the water based paints is that the pigment is very strong for starters and you have to work quick. I would look into General Finishes, they are sold at woodcraft, I like those stains the best, but the stain is only the first part, the Polyurethane to protect I would think would be your biggest issue since that essentially seals the stain... Good Luck
