Just built this today. I based it off the plans from Ana White located here: http://ana-white.com/2012/03/plans/kentwood-bookshelf. I scaled it up to about 72"x36".  I used a brad nailer and wood glue for the top and back planking, everything else was pocket-hole joinery. I still need to sand and stain it.

Nick,

I've been able to get flush/smooth plugs by trimming them, using a fine tooth flush cut razor saw---

and sanding was minimal.

This little tool is very handy, for the small tasks.

Unfolds in seconds and stays razor-sharp

flexible

Thin blade bends to lay flat with your cutting surface

The blade folds nicely into the handle.

Folds for storage while protecting the blade

Found it at Rocklers, for about $10

I actually used plugs in all the pocket holes along the front edges. It's a lot of work sanding them all down. And the plugs I got don't really blend in to well.

Thanks, that's a neat little saw. I'll see if I can get one at Harbor Freight tomorow :)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
