How do I get plans for a project? I feel absolutely stupid for asking because I don't know. Thank for your answers. Ken

Kenny,
Over the years there have been many posts leading to free plans. Type in free plans in the search box on the forums main page and you'll get pages of topic discussions related to plans. It may take awhile to go through them all but you should find plenty. As an alternative if you know what you want to build search for it, as an example "night stand plans" or "table plans" etc. I'm working on a tutorial on how to develop your own woodworking plans. Its a rather involved undertaking and it won't be completed until some time next year. I'll post it once I'm completed.
Hope this helps, Don
Kenny,

Hi Kenny
There are loads of places to find plans. One of my favorite sites to start looking is www.ana-white.com there are literally thousands of step by step plans there.
Also, you should never feel stupid asking for plans for any project! If there are projects you really like that are posted on this site, just ask the person who posted it. There are not always fully drawn up plans for everything, but the person will more often than not at least rough it out for you on the dimesions and steps. The best part is that when you ask here, many of the mistakes in plans have already been made and you will get the "new and improved" version of anything out there :)
Happy building!
Easiest way to do that is to ask the person who posted it. Generally plans are not included with posts, but most are more than happy to e-mail you either full plans or instructions. :)

Hi. I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing. How effective is it? It's adaptable to any router table. Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
