Kreg Owners' Community

Have worked on several projects with pocket screw. Getting really handy using the jig for the thin material. I real art to get it done write. My Spring project included a 48 x 96" picnic table with inserts for cooler. Not a new concept, but used exclusively 2 1/2" blue cote pocket screws without glue. It was build using 1 1/4" white cedar milled on three sides and routed the top edges with 1/8" round beat. Looks marvelous and hoping to make an Egg smoker's stand. Could not do it without the Kreg tools. Have using the screws to repair cracked chair seats.

Looking forward making some unique stuff, like a sleigh table. Have two sleighs to complete and turn them in some nice high end coffee table. I use the router to make overlapping joint for a tight fit. Mostly working with cedar, maple and wormed maple. Just a fantastic look.

Hope to expand my newly build (heated) workshop with two of my favorite. All Kreg Tools and Bosch power tools.  Supply of good lumber is great around hear and lots of people wanting fancy furniture. Hope to get more time to repurpose and build other items.

By the way I am doing some letter routing and made my own jig. Wish Kreg would beat Milescraft with a new concept. I will take pictures to show the jig and final product.

Hope you like this?

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
