Need some advice. I was thinking about buying this drill but I noticed the battery is different than the others I have. The BHR202Z drill requires a Makita BL1830 18-Volt L-I Battery. My other drills/drivers use a BL1815 18-Volt L-I Battery. The 1815 is a little smaller than the 1830 but it looks like it will fit. Has anyone tried this with Makita drills before?
Thanks

AFAIK the only difference between the 1815 and the 1830 is the 1815 is a 1.5 Amp hr battery and the 1830 is a 3.0 amp hour battery... that and about $45.
I have the LXFD01 drill and it also uses the 1815 battery. Life has been so good, I haven't seen a need to upgrade to a 3.0 battery.
