Kreg exterior (blue) screws and pressure treated lumber

I have seen some projects for decks and the like where people are using the Kreg blue exterior screws with pressure treated lumber.  A word of caution,  these screws are not compatible with most pressure treated lumber.  Check this out before you start attaching the framing members with these screws as ACQ will cause them to rust and rot very fast.  This link has information that address this issue. http://www.strongtie.com/productuse/PTWoodFAQs.html

How about giving us a screw that is acq compatible, that can be used with k3 jig sized holes? The stainless ones are expensive and don't have the shear strength. A number 9 size screw would be preferable in the green acq compliant coating you have. I did try to use your deck screw in a k3 hole, but the head is too small.

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
