Kreg Owners' Community

OK guys, this is my first post and I need help. I have been asked by my wife to come up with a knitting ball yarn winder for her. I researched her request on-line and found a few to purchase but at a very expensive price. $100 to $250 !?!?!?

Her requirements are simple; It must be made of wood . . . That's my wife ! ! ! Love it! More time in my shop!

Anyway, does anyone out there have any info., drawings, etc. that might help me?

This one, below, is exactly what she wants BUT sells for over $100 & I think I can build on from scraps. . .

I've been thinking about this also fo my sister, b'day present. Great minds must think alike. Did see one on Youtube, much more complicated then this one.

I found this site that is along the same lines as what we are looking for.

"TacoMagic's Random Insanity" It looks like this guy is trying to build one from scratch and make the plans available for FREE ! ! ! !

I have been following him and make a few suggestions to help. He is receptive to this.

I just ordered the plans off the site you referenced earlier. I'll let you know when they arrive.
