My idea is to mount Ttrack 90 degrees to fence and dado 3/8"  grove in fence base such that the track keeps the fence aligned. Think of the ttrack as the miter slots on a tablesaw fence would move straight. Then lock the fence down. Am I to idealistical or is this a good idea form self aligning fence?

I am still debating one of their systems along with others.

I would just like a table with more of a self aligning fence. Most of the less expensive tables are sloppy in reguards to fence alignment.
I had a homemade table and a Sears bench top table and then I spent big money on the Hawk Routershop which was the most I ever wasted on a bad tool. Hawk is out of business now. So I have been studying every table I can for a good replacement. So far the Kreg looks like the best for self aligning to the miter slot. The MCLS and the design you mention will still have a little play in the t track and I believe will need careful measurement from the miter slot. Hopefully someone with these tables will weigh in.
If you feel that you can build a functional router table, power to you. I hope the result is what you expect. As an owner and user of the Kreg router table top and fence, I must say that the Kreg unit is extremely hard to beat.

I do not understand why you need the fence to line up with the miter slot the bit is round ti will not matter if it is lined up with the mitre slot.
My router table is home made the fence is on a pivot point on one end and a curved slot on the other and it workes great.

Mark, I was just comparing to the Kreg fence which they advertise by the following: Table Saw Fundamentals
Unique self-squaring t-square style fence design – similar to those found on high-end table saw rip fences – allows the fence to be quickly and accurately adjusted parallel to the miter slot. Unique cam-style locking handle and opposite-side anchor ensures incredible fence rigidity.

Hi Mike - I tend to agree with Mark Lesch.... Table saw fence is a much different animal than a router table fence. Table saw fence needs to be parallel to the miter slot/blade to keep the stock from binding and kicking back. No such issue with a router table as the cutter is rotating in a different plane. Matter of fact, I frequently make small fence adjustments on the router table by just moving one end of the fence.
