Hello,
My name is Chris and I am in Elko, Nevada. Woodworking and being a DIY'er is kind of a necessity as I am a school teacher (not a lot of pay and soon to be less). Most projects are practical for around the house. Right now summer plans are to use my new Kreg system to build a new kitchen table and some shelves. My shop consists of clear blue sky and fresh air. At least there is lots of room and no need to clean up the sawdust! Forums like this are great for getting ideas and tips. I've already seen some comments that have helped.

Hello, my name is Steve. Mt first project was an entertainment system for my sister about 25 years ago when I was in High School. Since then I have done small projects but I have been in construction building and remodeling homes. I bought a house about a year ago with plans to renovate it room by room and has been going very slow but nice (one man operation with some help on the side). there is an enclosed pole building here that I've been working on setting up as a woodshop. I've had the table saw, miter saw, drill press, router and other hand tools. So I bought a band saw and planer to finishmy collection for now. I bought the Kreg Jig to start building my kitchen cabinets but got a little side tracked with building shop equipment! I've built a beautiful router table, new table for the radial arm saw, new table for the drill press and a work platform for the Kreg Jig itself. Now that these things are done I can work on the cabinets. The Kreg Jib makes it so easy and fast to put things together without long setup times.
Adrian Taylor from Charleston, SC. Got frustrated watching carpenters screw up my kitchen remodel and still had to pay them so I started with a step stool for my son, a friends daughter, and have orders for two or three more for family. I love the Kreg system (and was the only real choice for my step stools) and am looking to train myself up to tackle a built-in bookcase system next year. I am excited about picking up as many tips as I can and look forward to being involved in the Kreg community.

Hello. My name is Barry. I'm retired and have enjoyed woodworking since 1982. I live in West Hartford, CT. I love the lathe and do a lot of pen work, bottle stoppers etc. Have made two cradles so far (sister and daughter-in-law), clocks and other stuff. I have a basement shop, fairly well equiped. Bought a Kreg Jig out of curiosity after seeing a TV Infomertial. Hope to make new friends here Thanks.
My name is Doug. I live north of Dallas, TX.
I'm more of a "handy-man" type wood work. I've built some furniture, but mostly I'm into building garden boxes, decks, fences, and things for my workshop/garage/wife's parking area.
My garage had been so messy, I couldn't do anything in it for a year or so. I finally finished cleaning it out. I've already finished a few projects. Got a Kreg Master kit a few weeks ago. Finally used it for the first time. Really neat.

I ripped a 2x4 board to be a true 3” instead 3.5”. The thickness of the board remains 1.5”. When I put the pocket hole in the board, the top of the hole was too high and now visible. In other words the top of the pocket was on the top of the board…Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…

Several months ago, I purchased the Kreg K4MS so that I could build the Lego Table as outlined on the companion "buildsomething" web site which exclusively uses pocket hole construction. I have considerable experience with conventional…
