Hi everyone. I am Bert Green and I live in central  Mississippi.  I am new to this community. I am an intermediate wood-aholic. My wife says I need a twelve step program but at least it keeps me off the streets and outa the bars. I enjoy learning new aspects to the woodworking hobby-obsession. I have really enjoyed my Kreg Jig and other products by Kreg. I can make items that are way over my skill level with the Kreg jig and products and the projects seem to  turn out good and look professional. I am looking forward to learning more about the Kreg system from Kreg and from everyone in this room.

My name is James & I live in Golden, British Columbia. I have been making sawdust for 40 years. Now in my retirement I am getting away more ambitious and while I have all the woodwork "toys" I must admit that my Kreg jig for a lot of my work.

I'm a newbie to woodworking but ready to jump in.  Immediate projects are to build garage cabinets, workbenches, cross cut sled for the table saw.  My son and daughter are interested in helping me and will branch off into more "artistic" type projects with them.  Most of the "education" I've gotten has come from You Tube but would like to connect with other members in the southeast in order to get advice on where to find quality plywood and lumber locally.  Also, to get great ideas for projects and equipment to use in conjunction with my K4 system.

Hello ,I am Will and I don't have too much experience in woodwork but is willing to learn everything I can about woodworking.

Hi All,

I have just joined this community and am based in Australia. Recently purchased the Kreg K5 and have completed a few projects. I look forward to getting some great ideas from everyone as well as sharing any tips.

Feel free to message if you live in the land down under.

Chris.

Hello, my name is Martha.  I just made my first thing with my Kreg 3.  It was a book shelf for my son.

Hello All,

My name is Rick, I live in SC. I am a intermediate wood worker that is new to the Kreg system and community. I am looking forward to learning new tips and project ideas from members here on this site. I just purchased the K 4 master system and several other Kreg clamps that I intend on putting to use real soon on a couple of small projects I have been putting off for a while. I am glad there is a site like this that I can lean how to use this system properly and at the same time admire some of the fantastic work that other members post and display. It really has me motivated to get back in my shop and start building again!

Hello and welcome Chris

I am in Morningside Brisbane, and there are quite a few other aussies about.

Hi Chris

Welcome but I am also one of the newbies. Live on Russell Island Brisbane Qld and recently bought the box set that was on special. Looks good on my shelf and I even dust it off on occasion as I've yet to make the time to make something. Problem we have is getting timber here across the ditch. Barge costs a lot. Wife is planning some office cupboards so am looking forward to that project. I don't want to see a screw head when I have completed the project. See how I go. Do heaps of restoration for other people but need to find time for myself.

Have fun with your new toy.

Roger.

Hello My name is Mike and I'm from Branford, CT. I just downsized from a house to a condo so my first project with being very new to the Kreg joinery system will be the much needed work space for future projects. I'll use the Kreg system on this to get my feet wet and hopefully come out with a sturdy design that also looks good with all my joints and screw heads hidden.

Hello, my name is Bill. I've periodically had to learn how to do home repairs and minor carpentry when something falls apart in my house, but never been proactive about building stuff. I am interested in learning as much as possible about how to build things on the cheap! Nice to meet you :)

Hi everyone. My name is Glenn and I live in Vista Ca. I have be working with wood for more that 40 years. The Kreg jig is a wonderful new tool I purchased recently. I look forward to learning from the Kreg Owner's community.

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
