My name is Jim and I live in north central Illinois. I have been doing woodworking for many years and now that I'm retired hope to do more. I had never thought of the Kreg Jig as something that would enhance my shop, but was faced with a project which would require a lot of butt joints and it seemed like it would be better than biscuits or dowels or mortise and tenon. I am very sorry I hadn't purchased this great tool many years ago. What a great method of joinery and so easy to use. My first project of three large radiator covers, one including storage cabinets on each end was a breeze with the Kreg Jig. I look forward to doing many more projects with the Kreg Jig.
Hi, I am Ray & I am from Malaysia, I have been interested in woodworking and landscaping since I help my dad entend our house back in the sixties. I have just bought the master, deck jig, the micro and the mini jig. I just got them by mail order 2 days ago from UK. Haven't had a chance to try them out yet. can't wait to try them out but had been kind of busy this few weeks.
LIve in Florida... Navy Transplanted me here in 1975... Raised on a dairy farm in PA. and have had a saw in my hand for most of my life... Never had formal training in wood working ,, But trial and error have made alot of projects ... Now close to retiring and my biggest problem is the last few years of working are just getting in the way of my time in the shop... Who ever gets my house will have one very nice custom wood home... The Wife is my job shop foreman,, and interior designer... So things are sort of matching as they are built... And all projects have to be approved by the Boss... Biggest problem I have in the shop is need glassed now to see the pencil lines as I work...

Hi! I'm Chris from New Jersey and have recently purchased the Kreg Jig. I'm looking forward to picking the collective brains of some of the experienced woodworkers here online once I get the basics down.
I have been using the Automaxx 6" clamp for two plus years, and recently the clamp is impossible to close the handles to secure the work and my jig. I cannot close the handles no matter how much pressure I can exert. I open the clamp to max to reset…Continue
