Hello!  I am Jacob from Indiana.  I am a young dad and home owner.  I am not real experienced just yet working with wood, but I am hoping that being a Kreg Jig K5 owner can get me on the right path. I joined the community to get project ideas as well as helpful tips from other members.

Hi, this is Ron from New Braunfels, TX. I just got back into woodworking last June after a very extended absence, mainly working now with pallet woods and reclaimed building materials. Previously worked with my family building houses, remodeling, and doing cabinetry work. Purchased a Kreg jig a few months ago to start working with pocket joinery but really haven't found the time to get into it yet. Looking forward to interacting with everyone and continuing to learn every day!

Hello!  My name is Robbie, from Lawrence, KS.  I have done a couple of small projects with wood and am working to increase my abilities.  I just got my first Kreg Jig (it isn't even out of the box yet), and am excited to get working with it.

Hey everyone! I'm Bob! I run a website and Youtube channel called I Like To Make Stuff where I show people how to make all sorts of different stuff :)  It's all free and I hope you'll check it out.

I've used my Kreg jigs in most of my projects, they're a great set of products!

My name is Tim and I live in Layton Ut, north of SLC.  I am an avid DIYer and enjoy wood working.  I haven't made any large projects yet, but am about to start  on a cedar chest for my daughter that is graduating this year.  I bought the basic jig 2 yrs ago and it has been sitting on the bench.  I finally used it last week when making a raised garden bed.

Hello everyone!  I'm Dennis and I'm in Weatherford, Texas.  I've had a Kreg K3 Master system for many years now and can easily state that it is my favorite tool.  I have just about every woodworking tool I need (except for a lathe) and I always look for ways to use pocket hole joinery in every project.  Looking forward to learning more about how to use this awesome tool.

Hi! My name is Sharon and I live in MD. I had been doing small scale woodworking for years, with items like a small CD/DVD case as a gift (it was repurposed as a prayer box) and a plastic-ware caddy for our kitchen at work (I have one order for another). A couple of years ago I did my first large scale project when I designed and built an altar for our prayer room at home using my Kreg Jig (birthday gift from my wife). Last June I made a hamper for my mother for her 83rd birthday (see attached) using my Kreg Jig. I used the Kreg Jig to make display boxes for my bass guitars. I have too many projects in progress. I had stopped focusing on woodworking for a while to attend seminary. I took Spring semester '14 off to complete some needed repairs around the house. I have a lot to do before classes resume in the Fall. I love woodworking! My project list keeps growing with my imagination. I can't keep up. I joined this community to share with other wood-lovers. Thanks for having me!

Ah yes the Desmond Family !! and there must be lots of them, as I got a lot of emails from them.

They are a very wealthy lot, in fact they have so much money they want you to send them your bank details so they can make you rich, from memory it was about $750,000 but I would not know what to do with  so much money, I have all the Kreg Gear I need so it would be wasted on me,..... I think she was about 22 YO too young for me, might do my self an injury !!!

So I passed the details on to my youngest single son not sure if he followed upon it, but I do know he is still single and is always putting the bite on me for money so I am tipping he was not interested too!

LMAO

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
