my name is Sylvie from Halifax Nova Scotia Canada, I have been doing some woodworking for a few years now and just recently bought a Kreg Jr Waou! that's so easy to use! love it! my work is so much cleaner and it so fast comparing to dowels and glue...

Thank you to all for sharing your experience on this forum, I have no training in woodworking and all that I know I learned it by reading this kind of forum and from books at the library.

I also do not have a workshop (I work in my garden when the weather is good and a bit in my basement during the winter (but unfortunately the ceiling is too low and I get back pain if I work there for too long) and I have just a few tools (a jigsaw, a sander, a corded drill and a cordless drill and a few hand tools) and I already made (before I bought the Kreg Jr) several shelves and bookcases, a kitchen storage bench, a desk, a patio table and now with the Kreg Jr, I am transforming a simple futon frame into a extensible daybed/sofa/bed...

So no need for expensive tools (tough I would love to have a router and a table saw if I had the space and the money ;-) )

Hi My name is Dale.  I have enjoyed woodworking for a number of years.  We recently moved into a condo and the basement was unfinished.  Because of wife's home based business we wanted to add a second kitchen in the basement.  I purchase the pocket hole system and have loved learning to use it.  I am just finishing up the complete kitchen.  I build all my own cabinets and drawers and doors using the pocket hole system and it has turned out great.  I will soon be loading pictures of my projects.

As you have already discovered the Kreg Jig  is a tool which does everything it says it can do.

A very versatile piece of kit in the workshop.

I'm a new woodworker and I'm not accustomed to using the social sights because of my work environment. However, as often as I get home I find myself in my little shop building and repairing. Making old things stronger and new things sturdier. When ever I find a way to make something out of the materials that I have or scrap I take advantage of it. Hi my name it Tim, most people call me Toolmaster. I'm from Hayden Alabama (Roll Tide) as of this day I am 50 going on 26.

I'm new at wood working ! Been working with steel most of my life. I have a large shop next to my house that I have used for working on equipment, trucks, or anything else I need it for. I have built a few wood projects over the years but never did like it much. Now after some health problems I have been looking at some wood projects as a way to pass the time with. It seems that working with steel these days is just too much for one person with a bad back. I am hoping to fill that space with wood working.

I have a few wood working tools I have collected over the years, Craftsman Radial arm saw 10", Skill saws, drills of all kinds, steel jig tables I can convert over for wood, air compressor and tools and according to my wife more Snap-On tools than a man should have.

Last week I picked up the Kreg Master Kit at lowes and have a stack of old Barn wood that will get used for some planes the wife has come up with.I will try to link to some photos of my past projects.

Take it easy wood can be just as heavy as metal, and associated airborne particle problems they are a killer in enclosed spaces, metal on the  does not float or contaminate the air,

Your projects look very good and possibly a bit of "overkill"  for the workshop.

Meaning nice raised panel work!!

What is the Blue machine sitting on your workbench?

Don't expect the PC to last long there, you may want to build a nice enclosure for it with the Kreg Jig !!

The poor moose is going to be covered in fine dust too! Not that he/she will mind as I think they are dead already!

Enjoy The site there is one or two  "weird" members here along with lots of very knowledgeable and experienced wood workers of whom are all  willing to assist new comers.!!
