I used my belt sander to redo my deck.  It worked fine, for awhile, but now the sawdust does not flow into the bag.  It just accumulates on the surface.  I've cleaned the bag and all the channels I can find.  What am I doing wrong?  This is the second time this has happened.  I've had a Black and Decker and now a Porter.  Help!

Hi skipper - sorry to hear about your sander. Sounds like something is plugged somewhere. If you have access to an air compressor you may try blowing it out. I have mine rigged to attach a shop vac to. Belt sanders remove a huge amount of material very quickly and I found the bag that came with mine inadequate at best. Needed to be dumped about every 10 minutes. I'm assuming you have tried it without the bag and no dust is coming out of the port?
sounds like moisture is the suspect,I had this happen to me and what I did , I hope you have access to a air compressor  and a air nozzle .Set air  compressor around  60 psi   take the bag off the sander and shoot air down the port and shoot air around the rollers you probably have a build up inside  and the opening is narrow for the sawdust. try that  and  I hope that works for you.
