Kreg Owners' Community

I am a fairly new Jig customer and this is my first post on this forum. So far I have really enjoyed using my Kreg Jig. It is a very useful quick way for building a multitude of projects. I have the full Kreg System that includes a Dust Collection fitting. I have tried to use the Dust Collection Port on several occasions but can't seem to get the darn thing to stay connected to my Jet DC-1200. I have a 4" Rockler Dust Right Hose System and have a hose reduce going from the 4" hose down to the 1 1/4" Dust Port on my Kreg Jig. However, I have found that gravity is not my friend and that I have to reconnect the hose every 30 second or so. Has anyone had any success using a full size Dust Collector with the Kreg Jig? If so could you please explain how you have made it work.

Thanks!

-Chris

Hi Chris - I just got about a 6 ft length of 1~1/4 hose connected to the jig and connected that to the DC system. Seems to me a 4" hose connected that close to the jig would give more problems than just falling off frequently.
