18x96 plank
White ceder
About 5 yrs ago I had 8 ceder trees taken down on my property and the logger that took them cut a few slabs for me to use for furniture I have maybe 6 slabs all are min of 18 inches wide from 8 - 10 feet long. All are 5/4..
The logger had a chainsaw mill that works really well and the cuts are pretty flat so I had no problem running belt sander over to get most of the roughness off.To wide for my DeWalt planner and besides I did not want the wood to be smooth as silk .The deeper grooves are only as deep as a credit card,so when I spray many coats of lacquer the indentations ill pop out.
Thanks for looking it wa a fun project knowing it was grown on my property.
