I was just woundering if anyone build there own panel saw and plase dont gave me all these web site's it's one thing to talk about it and another to do it so one day I cut 3/4 plywood the next I would be cutting big sheets of plasice so any help would be nice.

Thanks Jay but I still have the end plate's on and I was just wonding if I could use a slide system.I got a peice of 3/4" plywood with malamirn on it and all I would need is two side rails to keep it runing striaght.

Well it sound like it would work as long as the melamine stays straight with your cut.  If you can make the tracking straight then the saw should follow a straight line.  With it in a slide system then the saw should travel up and down in a consistant path each time.  Knowing your ability I am sure you what you are doing.  I am confident that one day soon I will see you with a completed saw and your idea will become a reality.  Have a great New Year

IT isnt as must the wibsite's but haveing the money for it. The bar system cost and it isnt somthing pass on to my costomer's.

I'm in the same boat, I mean work-shop.

I make my jigs, fixtures, and the like.

Making it myself is satisfying and rewarding---"I made that''.

Here what I got for a slide system and I well be able to use it as a clamp table as well.
