What kind of hardware are you looking for Bobby? Have you looked on Amazon? Their hardware selection is gigantic and the prices are generally competitive.
thanks ronda for the reply actually nothing specific i just dont want to spend hours comparing prices at different stores just need a few links to compare prices to me Rockler seemed high for their inventory and thought there has to be better prices out there on the web
Start out at Amazon. Most places sell at least some of their inventory on there and you can price match everything at the same time. Once you are there you can also look up the stores online that have the best prices and visit their website direct and some offer catalogs and discounts for your orders. If you sign up on Rockler I believe you still get a 20% off coupon for your 1st online order.
thanks
Woodworking hardward & tools are available from several sources.
Rockler offers quality products, as well as products that many do not offer.
There are many "knockoff", "look-alike" or "elcheapo" products on the market.
You get what you pay for.
Expensive is all relative.
For example, drawer slides---there's some inexpensive ones at home centers;
however, they're not the quality and service that you'll get at Rockler.
There's lots of elcheapo stuff offered by some big box stores,
they're selling products targeted for the average DIY, and it may do the job for you.

Peruse their catalog offering, compare "specifics" and price,
then decide what you want and what you want to spend, and
what fits your needs.
BTW---check "shipping" costs, when you order from on-line catalog houses.
When buying on-line, what is their return policy?
When you have to return something, you'll have to pay the return shipping costs,
in addition to repackaging the goods, and take it to a shipper.
What are all those costs involved?
Will you save anything?
Perhaps not, and it may cost you more.
With Rockler, you can always call their Customer Service people, and get helpful info, before making your purchase.
I've found some items less costly, at a nearby store, and get it right away, and you get to touch it and examine it for yourself, before you buy it.
I've ordered products on-line, and upon receipt of the goods, they weren't what was advertised.
That's a bummer.
You can't get that service from Amazon---they're order takers---someone answering the phone may be in India, and don't know the difference between a walleye and a water snake.

Hi. I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing. How effective is it? It's adaptable to any router table. Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
