I do have a question if some could give me advice. I feel my work is pretty good but I'm not sure how to come up with a fair amount to charge people for my labor.
Any suggestions?

Alan, if you are going to sell a product, you need to look at some of the information out there for starting a business. You have to look at everything from 1. gasoline used to go pick up lumber, 2. electricity used in the shop, 3. rent or mortgage, 5 finishes, etc.
People (customers) want to compare hand made artisan products to those that are mass produced in China and your product requires a lot more work, resources, and over all expenses to produce. Don't be afraid to charge for your efforts. "Good work ain't cheap, and cheap work ain't good".....
