I find that with any project there can be only ONE leader.  In my case I seek my husband input because I like to talk out my plans.  I ask him to think out loud so I can hears his thought on what I/we are doing. I find it makes it easier to solve problems when they arise.  Today my husband had the idea o use the car jack to hold up the deck while we level it.  I would have never thought of that.   it worked out great, and it made things go much more smoothly.

At my house she is in charge.  A car jack?
