Kreg Owners' Community

Completed my first real project using Kreg joints and can't wait to get to my next project which will be a credenza.  I learned A LOT while making this piece.  Before you start joining wood  that will be used for the piece, test a few junk pieces first!  This will ensure you have everything set correctly.  When you're joining the pieces together, clamp clamp clamp!  Nothing is more frustrating than having 2 pieces misaligned because of something so simple as holding them properly in place while joining.  And finally, if you get glue outside a joint, wipe it off!  There is no stainable glue.
