Built this back in 2012 for a guy for his mother to display her mini light houses , glass doors and front , lighted shelfs and a light that rotated on the top !! Designed and built this from scrach as I went along , 7 1/2 feet high and the base was 36 " , brought me a pic. on a brown paper bag , did a redesign for him !!

Very cool cabinet, Jim. I really like that you took the lighthouse theme and ran with it, and that you even included the safety lines around the base and the upper section. Great attention to detail. Thanks for sharing!

Thank,s Jay , for the nice comment,s , it was a birthday present for the guy,s mother , she sent me a thank you card with a lot of little glitter light houses in the card , that made it worth all the hard work, to make some  one happy with one of my build,s !!  Did have to scrach my head to get all the angles just right , HA!!  Even put the hand rail around the top and bottom , with small post,s and chain from light and fan pull switches , btw , it dose have  rotating white light in the top , wanted to make it look real , JIM !

Hi Jim, now this is woodworking,  That is one fine looking cabinet and how fitting it is to display light houses in.  I think this is really a piece of art as it design is fascinating.   I know was not the easiest thing to build.  Anytime you build a multi-side object it is a challenging job.  This is an excellent example of craftsmanship as it really takes your thought to a real light house and all the intriguing things we all have read about and even taken ventures into them.  Like how you put the top on and all that is missing is the rotating spot light.   Nice job and thank you for posting your work.
