John, beautiful gun cabinet built with the sportsman in mind.  Great design and exceptional grain choice and color.  This is a definate custom that sets its self away from the normal gun cabinet and leans toward the type of furniture that would be at home anywhere it is placed in decor of the home.  This prompted me to look at all of your photos finding them show many areas of some excellent craftsmanship. 

I think we all are missing out when we do not take the time to visit and view the posted photos on the pages of other members in the community.  It is an education and something that is kinda exciting and lends towards motivation and desire to build somethng.   Thank you for sharing your work.  You have some pieces of exceptional design and craftsmanship.

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?

I making a hex ring out of 2x4s ripped to 2 ¾ inches wide with 30 degree miters.  What setting on the Jig should I used? 1 ½ is too much.  Thanks.Continue
