Great idea, my grandson is a Lego fanatic. He literally has hundreds of dollars worth of Legos, maybe even close to $1000. I think what might be cool is to make the boxes a little deeper and then make corresponding holes on the bottom so that the boxes can be stacked.

Hi Robert, The boxes are made from 3/4 MDF (19mm) with a piece of 3/16 hardboard for the bottom.

I used a 2 1/8 hole saw on my drill press and removed the pilot bit.

After I sanded the edges of the pucks on the belt sander (a little tricky)

Thanks for looking

Jim

Hello Jim,

Nice work on the boxes.

The material appears to be MDF?

About 32mm thick?

Should be "Kid proof" by the looks.

How did you cut the circle tops?

Regards

Robert Brennan

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
