Hello, My name is Edward.
I live in Phalaborwa South Africa, the town borders the Kruger National Park.
I am only a afterhours woodworker. Just bought my Kreg jigs, busy with first project.
Bought the Kreg jig with this project in mind, hiding assemby screws was important as the entertainment center will be visible from three sides. As it has to be assembled at remote location it has to be flat packed.
Enjoy jig.
Jim checking in from Marshall, Michigan. I feel like we all did as little kids waiting for some toy we sent for from a Cheerios box! Fed X should be here today with the my new jig.
I'm presently trying to graciously retire and am really looking forward to finally being able to do some meaningful woodworking.
My wife and I have totally remodeled two homes from top to bottom and are looking forward to a third if all goes well but all the construction work has not allowed time for meaningful personal time in the 'ole workshop. I'm really looking forward to the jointing, routering, planing and most of all, putting it all together with pocket screws. Dowels and biscuits have their place but pocket screws offer so much more.
So far I'm extremely impressed with this site. I look forward to the conversations.
Hello. My name is Phil and I live in the Black Hills of western South Dakota. I am a consulting electrical and mechanical engineer and I work with architects in the design of buildings. In my spare time I am remodeling and/or adding on to some residential buildings that we own.
Currently I am completing a two-story garage that my wife calls the "Garage-Mhal". I purchased the Kreg jig to use for the cabinets in a bathroom and kitchen area of the second level. This level will be a workout area as well as a craft room. I am looking forward to learning more about cabinet making from the Kreg community.
My name is Brent and I'm a thumbless shop teacher in Oregon.
Just Joking.Woodwork hobbyist, do my own cabinets, furniture and trimwork. I've got an old house I'm restoring. I'll use pocket hole joinery for quick jobs. Keep my jigs bolted to ply so quick setup for cabinet or picture frames. Used my Kreg for a large set of garage cabinets complete with drawers the first weekend I bought it. Great tool, makes for quick assemblies. Don't think I could have completed it so quickly with out my Kreg jig.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
