Hi,

My name is Matt Church and I am from Enon, Virginia(just south or Richmond).  My wife and I (plus three kids) bought a small fixer upper brick rancher just about two years ago.  We have been steadily cleaning/fixing/adding to the home.  We are now ready to renovate the kitchen and in my search for ideas I came across the Kreg products.  My plan for the kitchen is to leave the cabinets that are there and build new doors and drawers.  As far as finish we plan to paint all the surfaces.  If I use the Kreg jig system will it be sturdy enough?  I want to do this once!  Any suggestions would definitely be welcome!

Thank you.

My name is Jim and I am an intermediate woodworker, but DIY, and just my passion. I am retired and disabled but love working with wood. I work in my garage and have just basic tools at the moment. Decided to use the Kreg Jr. to get my feet wet. Should not be long until I upgrade.

I am Thom  Short for Thomas, I am retired from Electrical Contruction,

If any need help with  electrical  problems or design feel free to ask

I have a small wood shop, I use to relax and  get out of house.

I live in Mesa, Arizona so if any other woodworker are close by, feel free to stop in   , we may be able to do some projects together

Beautiful town to be in. May call on you later, saving for new table saw and my garage eletrical can't handle more than 2 tools at a time. Thanks for your offer and Merry XMAS

My Name is U.G. "Nick" Nichols, named after my Grand Father, Ulysses Grant Morton. I live in Toms River, NJ and I Work during the week as electrical  and plumbing inspector. Been doing wood work off and on for about 40 years. I have a Kreg 2000 set up. Had it for about 8 or 9 years and would be lost without it. I work out of my one car attached garage. Small shop for sure. But it's better than no shop. He He

Hello Everyone, My name is Andy and I live in NE TN. Just got my Kreg Master Jig for Christmas and I love it. Been playing with it most of the day in the shop. I am looking forward to building some neat things with my Kreg Jig.

I see there are some 20 or so new members to the community this day.  Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.  Welcome to the community.  There is a wealth of information to be gleaned from some of the veterans of this community.

Since you're all here I have to assume you now have a Kreg Jig.  Once again, welcome and happy woodworking with your Kreg products.

Hi:
Tony Here. I'm from north of the 49th paralell, place called Port Hope, Ontario. I am rather heavily into sailing and own a 29 footer of which I am going to redo the interior. As always, I am continually looking for improved methods to complete tasks of this nature and came across the Kreg joinery system and then to this community. I really enjoy viewing the projects the community has created. Some of them are really impressive. It is a good way to share projects and ideas and so have placed a few of my own to view. As you can see, my wife and I together have started to become better at storage solutions and hopefully this will translate to solve some of the small space storage problems that populate marine vessels. Forums like these are a huge resourse and look forward your comments and views.......

Hi everyone, I'm about to get on the Kreg road in a 'bigger' way. I had a small Kreg jig that I build a hall table with a couple of years ago, but just received Kreg Jig Master System for Christmas. I'll be reading the various input, articles and projects looking for ideas. Looks like a really cool site and look forward to exploring it, projects to be posted later.

Thanks for welcome Robert. Don't have any tips yet. Just watched the video and looks like it might get complicated when you get into the curved joining.

Take care,

jim
