Don,t know if this should go to the Kreg rep. , the site or the Kreg company it self !!!!  I for one think that it is time you add some new photos to the featured page photo,s !!!  This could be changed weekly, as we have been looking at the same one,s from a few members  for week,s !! There is room to put on 100 photo,s on the slide show  and there has been a lot of very nice project,s posted  and only a few get there project,s featured , think the site should treat all members the same , as they are all proud of what they have built, big or small, beginners  , advanced or have there own little site, they are all future customers and members of this site !!! If any one else feels the same please add your post,s or comments!!! We are all wood workers and enjoy showing our project,s  an should get credit for them , thanks for your time , JIM !!!!

Anthony , the well thought out response to you was written  by Jay and not me , he knows what he is talking about and has all ways been a great help to all members and this site , he should get the credit not me , I just started the ball rolling to get the photos on the slide show changed , and have all members on this site treated the same , JIM !!

Oh thanks - well in reality you both deserve credit as you both have helped out numerous people on this site.

Anthony . I do deserve a very little bit of the credit for trying to help other,s on this site  !! But Jay is the one who wrote the reply to you and he deserves all the credit for that and much more for helping a lot of members on this site for many years !!!!!  The most important thing here on this site is that ( ALL MEMBERS )  are treated the same and fair , this has not happened for the last few month,s !!!  There are some that offer free plans and then ask for a donation , then the one,s  that charge for their plans , and some even give free plans with no strings attached  and then you have the ones that build a project for a Kreg give away and receive compensation or products for them from Kreg Company  and get their little sits free advertisement  , this is not right It is a wood workers site  and Kreg dose sell wood working tools , lets be fair to all members  and treat them the same way , may be the site can set up a little part of the site for the select few  to sell their plans  and if you don,t want to buy so be it , JIM !!!

Yes, that is a good suggestion - I for one wouldnt charge for anything I built. I figured if I can share my plans and help others then that is a service and I feel grateful that others would be able to build the project as well. If you had to make the plans for yourself, why charge others for what you already made anyway - thats just my take and I know others may disagree because most people just try to make a dollar here and there. And at the same time if you sell your plans...well you did take the time to put all of the thought into the measurements and pieces as well as assembly so I understand that point for view as well.....but saying that - I have never bought plans - if it wasnt free then I looked at pictures and replicated it to the best of my abilities

I tend to just post my pics to my facebook page, I have given up the idea of keeping up with more experienced woodworkers but still build things myself. It would be nice to see new stuff on the page here though, I know a lot of you guys post builds that are very, very nice and should be shown to the rest of the community.
