Basically you just need a scissers jack from junkyard, mount under your router. You have to use your plung router base to have it track straight going up.

Anyone interested, I purchased a Router Raizer from Rockler. When I ordered it it was $99 and had a 20% off coupon which brought the total to $ 79. I have been using it since April, and love it, if you clean and lubricate the shafts periodically will have no problems. I just looked online and it has increased to $105.

Looks like a good product that I didn't know about. My solution works and almost free. I had the jack at home sitting around.

Hey Gary:
I have used this technique for over a year and it works great.
I sent this idea to several wood working sites and none of them published it!!!
Maybe, advertisers put the kabosh on it.
I am happy with the results. Just though I would pass on the info. Good thing about
this site is the new ideas. I have learned a lot here. I like how civil and non critical the members are and helpful. I look forward everyday to all the new projects posted and links. I also thank kreg for providing this site and for its freedom to allow discuss issues and talk about other vendors products.
Thanks to all for comments.
