Kreg Owners' Community

It has been a while since kreg come out with something new. Last thing was the auto clamp. It would be nice if they sold a platform to mount the kreg jig to that would hold the boards that are longer and hard to handle. Just throwing out ideas but kreg is so good I bet anything I think of they already thought of it. What are some Items y'all would like to see?

Hang-in there---

stick around awhile---

I'm sure they have lots of projects in the planning stages.

Thanks, Michael, for sharing your ideas. We always love to hear what interests our Kreg fans and customers. Rest assured that we are always working on product research and development, and we are working on multiple new ideas. We always spend a lot of time during these phases to make sure that we can produce products that are innovative, functional, durable, and affordable. We'd rather spend extra time on development than rush to market with an inferior product.

Please keep your ideas coming. We are listening.

Mike,

Temporary solution for an outfeed support:

Position an ironing board adjacent the work top---

adjust to desired height---

shim the feet to fine tune and square-it-up.

I'm glad kreg is dedicated to providing great products to us the consumer. I know products development takes time. Just excited to see what's in store. If kreg ever needs anyone to beta test something I will be glad to help.
Thanks ken great idea.

Hi Michael , this is a board that I made up for the Kreg Jig, and longer boards ! I mounted the Jig on a 40" board , then mounted an 18" section of Kreg  mini  t track on each side ( 36" track kms7508 cut in half ) !Also use two Kreg support/ stops  for the boards to rest on, can be adjusted up to 40 " The board in the pic. is a 1 x 8" x 6' long ,  #2 white pine that I get at a local small town lumber yard, not the big box stores !! The jig board can be clamped to the work bench , hope this helps , JIM

James,

The photo shows the board pretty much centered---

how is the workpiece supported when its extented all the way out in either direction?

Does the clamping pressure hold the board so it doesn't fall?

Ken , yes it dose hold good  , but if you use a lot of longer boards  in your projects , you can get the track up to 48" long , just have to make your base board longer, this work,s for me !!!!!!

Good idea there James. Thanks

Michael and KEN , here are two more pics. of my set up with a 1" x 16" x 6'0'' long board  , no problem with the clamp holding the board in place , work,s for me , JIM !!!!!
