Kreg Owners' Community

This is not a Kreg related question but I am sure a lot of you Kreg lovers have had the same issue.  I have been trying to find some safety glasses that will fit over my normal glasses.  Tried a couple of different types off amazon that claim to be suitable for wearing over normal glasses but they just don't fit.  Other than buying a welding mask or motorbike helmet!! does anybody know of and can recommend a product that actually works for wearing over normal glasses?  Thanks!

I bought a pair of Dewalt safety goggles from Amazon and they fit over my glasses. They look more like ski goggles than safety glasses. Hope this helps.

Hi Andy,

I have been using the Dewalt Concealer Dual Mold Goggle reference number DPG82 and it fits over my normal spectacles. Only one drawback - the spectacles come off with the goggles so you have to remember to take them out of the goggles before storing it.

Please let me know if you have success with goggles.

BTW are there any other Kreg Jig owners in Northern Ireland? I should like to set up a local group for Kreg Jig owners.

Hi Andy, Something else to think about (if you have insurance) is to get prescription safety glasses. Mine cost $60 and was well worth the investment.

Mike,

Were you able to get the style that features a larger size lense and side shields or wrap around lense,

so as to provide better eye protection?
