Welcome to the community Joe, looking forward to seeing some of your work.  Glad to see that you have the Kreg pocket hole jig as it will definately open a new door for you.  I'm a professional cabinet maker as well and the Kreg Jig changed my total method of how I build cabinets and other projects, over twenty years ago.  It has been one of the best tools that I found and is today just as important to me as my table saw.

Again welcome and hope you will enjoy your journey with us, It is always nice to have someone new with experience come aboard.

Hello, I'm Eric and I live in the Richmond, va area.  I mostly do projects with my youngest daughter. We have done some electronics, robotics and a few wood working projects. I have just come across a pristine K2 Master kit. We are going to build a work table and some shelving for the garage. After that who knows what we will come up with.

Mark from Cedar Falls, IA here. Came across the Kreg jig on a DIY site, don't even remember which, and decided I really needed to give it a try. I got a gift card to Ace hardware for my b-day so I ordered a Kreg Jr. and also got myself a new 18v drill. For my first project I decided to use the various scraps of lumber I had sitting around and build a heavy shelf unit in the basement. I figured it would be good practice and if  I screwed up it wouldn't hurt anything. So far I'm very impressed. These joints are solid as a rock. Looking forward to bigger and better things.

Hello, from Weatherford, TX area.  New to using a Kreg jig but I have built a few items before.

Also, someone needs to fix the verification question.  "Real-person verification: What is 4 + 2?"  I put in Six, six, and 6 then just started running through the numbers.  Apparently 4 + 2 = 8, somebody measured once and cut twice lol.

hi all, My name is Carlos Munguia, I live in Downey CA. I am married with two kids, my son is 20yrs old and my daughter is 12yrs old. I just got into wood working, had been wanted to do it for a long time now but could not afford the tools. My first project was a picnic bench I built using plans from woodsmith shop, it came out great then I came upon the Pocket hole jig from Kreg, I am fascinated by this tool and all that you can do with it, I have since bought all kinds of Kreg tools, the pocket hole jig, the rip cut, all the clamps, the multi-purpose measure tool and more. I will be a regular of this site and look forward to seeing all of your projects.

Will,

It's a ''new'' math...

;-)

Hi there-

My name is Blane and I live in Monroeville, IN.  My two hobbies are woodworking and model railroading.  My last project was completing a cradle which is now being used by my grandson.  I hope to learn from others on this forum about the benefits about pocket-hole joinery.

Hi my name is Rob Sharratt and I live in Australia, I have just ordered the Kreg Master system a 90 degree clamp and a Rip Saw Guide, they should arrive in a couple of weeks, I haven't done any real woodworking since I was at school, and that was 52 years ago, could be a rocky road ahead ;o))

Hiya,im Gary from kent in the UK and After being a qualified heating engineer over a 25 year period i had a massive back injury leaving me disabled. Now taking up woodworking as a hobby.Just completed a 10x6 shed and converting it into a mini workshop.

Finding it a daunting task of selecting tools, Have basic tools,ie drills, cordless, jigsaw etc, being Dewalt,Bosch etc, i like the look of Trend for biscuit cutters, routers  and the Kreg Jigs etc

Have been looking around for some catalogues

Found this site and hope that i can get some sound advice of what to buy and not to buy.

thanks in advance for anyone who may be so kind to steer me in the right direction.
