Outside of Rochester

HI my name is George I live in North of Puerto Rico . I have been doing woodwork over the years and have decided to practice more to end up building the cabinets of my new house. I will save thousands of dollars doing that. I do a lot of pocket hole joinery because i think is strong and easy. Around six months ago I purchased the Kreg Jig and I am getting better every time. Thanks fro receiving me.

 Hello James,,

Thanks for the reply, and the nice picture, that is the sort of work I would like to do.

I spent about three frustrating days attempting to make a curved top.

I almost gave up and It drove me mad so I resorted to posting a help/advice wanted on the Kreg site and got lots of feedback and inspired me to continue

With the information I had from the members, surprisingly enough I had a brainstorm" and managed to get a reasonable result.

Its posted on my projects site some where but I didn't continue the activity mainly because of my lack of skills, and the fact I found there was little equipment available these days to support the work.

I would like to produce an item similar to yours if only to satisfy myself that I can do it.

Do you have any construction notes for the Barrel?

Regards

Robert Brennan

Hello My Name Is Lee, I live in Colorado I just receiced my Kreg Jig today for Fathers Day,I really like working with wood and as with most married men I have a ton of Projets that my Wife would like done and I think the Kreg Jig will Help to get them done.

Hi, I'm Larry and live in Vermont in the summers and winter in FL. I have been working with wood off and on for many years. This year I discovered the Kreg jig. Actually I was introduced to it by my son. Well maybe more by his wife when she told me that is what he wanted for his B'day last year.

Hi all, My name is Rick, I'm not only new to the community but also very much a NOVICE at woodworking. I'm from Massillon, Ohio ( about 1 hour South of Cleveland ) and 3 years retired from Massillon Fire Dept. where I was a Firefighter/Paramedic for about 20 years then retired as the EMS Coordinator. Living the good life with 2 big dogs and a great woman. Love this site and browsing through the photos for Ideas and how to. Any and all tips are welcome and appreciated

My name is Kimberly and I'm from Atlanta, GA.  I haven't had much experience with woodworking- mostly just building shelves or boxes or picture frames. We are remodeling our house and I am wanting to learn more about the Kreg Jig and how it can help me build things like storage cubbies, closet systems, bunk beds, etc.

Welcome to the Kreg Community website Kimberly

You aready have the skills to be able to make a very impressive effort renovating, all the house is  bigger boxes bigger frames and the same shelves.

There are lots of members, all approachable and very knowledgeable, and when you scan the photos you will see what I mean, added to that most will have project details as well, or are available simply by just asking.

Enjoy
