Router - just carve it into the wood.
Pressure treated plywood is awful stuff though. I'd suggest some other stock.. cedar for example.
Cant go wrong with router straight bit 1/4 " and ceder also do a fancy edge and not just a roundover
I would use chalk to draw the letters and a jigsaw to cut them out, If you are going to paint it and because it is hanging I don't suggest using pressure treated. a good 5 ply plywood will last 25 years hanging with just the 1st painting.. good luck
Thanks Michael! i was planning on traceing out the name and cuting out the letters. just wasnt to sure what the best type of wood would be the best to use for it. thanks!
If your painting it I have done all painting first and then after all dries router out the letters and then seal it.This way the paint will not bleed down in the letters if you choose to paint after cutting letters out.
Just a grandpa tip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the tips guys!!

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
