Kreg Owners' Community

If you're like me, it seems like we purchase a new woodworking tool or accessory just about every week.  Post photos (and a description) of your last (or somewhat recent) purchase here so we can see what all the community members are buying and maybe we can get ideas of items to add to our own shopping list!

(please also post a link to where the product can be purchased if possible... so spending money is only a click away for the rest of us.)  ;)

It is a 30 gallon metal trash can with a cover that has 2 holes for 4 inch hose,One hose goes to saw other to dust collector. It is designed to remove all heavy particles like planer waist and router debris that could clog the intake of dust collector. They make them for 5 gallon pails an d30 gallon.5 gallon works pretty good but it is for shop vac hose

Jens,

What is the model number of your dust collection from Harbor Freight? The only large one on their website is a 1550 CFM for $179.00. Did you get it on sale or is that the price you quoted to your wife? :-)

Ted

Rick,

The 16" Omnijig came with the fixed template for half-blind dovetails. After only a couple of tries, I got some good joints. I then ordered the miniature variable finger template and have not had as easy a time with it. The last thing that I ordered is the full size variable. Haven't tried it yet. It is a complex jig and the video gives a very cursory view of various setups. The manual does seem to cover as much as you need, though. I just need to spend more time with it.

Ted

Thanks for the info Ted. I guess like most things, we have to practice and learn the querks of the jig. I would like to start doing dovetails and assume both the PC and the Leigh needs lots of hands-on practice.
