Hello, My name is Ron and I live in Michigan. I have been wood working on off but have never been able to master joinery. So here I am a nubie with a pocket hole jig geting ready to get started anew.

Al St. Aubin, up in cold New Hampshire. Have had the Kreg jr for a couple of years and used it on a couple of small products. Just bought the Kreg Master kit. Getting ready to make a toy box, pirate chest cor my grandson. Will post as it progresses.
My name is Lisa and I live in NEPA and I just got married this summer.  I'm most experienced with a band saw of all tools, and have built myself a variety of helpful household items in the past.  My dad taught me how to use his tools, and has just about anything  I've ever needed to craft with.  I've built a step stool, a book shelf, some country shelves, a curling iron holder, trophy shelf and other crafts.  I haven't built anything in about 10 years, but I wanted to build some items for my new home, like a coffee table or end table and a computer desk, but I wasn't sure I'd know how.  When I saw KregJig on TV, it made me feel like it might be possible.  I just received my master kit and can't wait to try it out!  There are some great ideas everyone has shared.  I look forward to completing and sharing some projects of my own.

Hello Lisa and welcome

I am Robert Brennan and live in Brisbane Australia.

Congratulations on your recent wedding.

Some humour :

I didnt know Kreg made Pink jigs tee hee, anyway where is NEPA I tryed to "google " it and found nothing.

You will have lots of fun with your new Kreg Jig, just make sure you clamp the edges well as the angled screws tend to move the joint as they screw in.

Here is my latest build a tool cupboard

NEPA is short for North Eastern Pennsylvania.  I think we are the only state that refers to ourselves by the initials instead of the name, like we say we live in "PA" haha.  Around here people use the term NEPA  often to refer to our area.  It includes the Poconos and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area that I live in.  Thanks for the welcome :)
I just want to say welcome to ALL newcomers in advance....... have a good one. keep on makin dust

Hi my name is Don and I have just retired. I have built a number of things ( porches, pavilions est.) that didn't require finished work as I call it.   After seeing program on Television said.  I think I can do that.  so here I am.
Hello, I'm Loretta.  I have been interested in woodworking since I took woodshop in the 5th grade.  I have just started to make furniture (book cases, cabinets, etc.) for myself and I was hesitant in doing dovetailing, so I bought the KregJig so that I could skip that for now...
Hi, my name is John and I have waited quite a while to introduce myself. Some of you may already know me and some probably don't. I live in stupid southern California, where the rent is high, the temperature is higher, and gas is even higher. I first got into woodworking about 10 years ago when my mom asked me to fix her kitchen cabinets. So logically I spent several thousand dollars acquiring a table saw, router, dust collector and other such tools. I have yet to stop increasing my hoard of tools. I even used pocket screws when making those cabinets for my mom. Since then I have made many cabinets and other assorted projects. I am also into wood turning as well. I learned everything I know just by doing and reading books.

Hello,

My name is Elmer, I live in East Texas, I am a beginner DIY'er.  I bought the kreg jig Jr about a year ago when my wife and I decided to remodel our home a little at a time, I bought my kreg jig with the purpose of building kitchen cabinet doors, and of course I have used it for many other things since then, I honestly beleive it is invaluable.  My cabinet doors, by the way, turned out better than imagined.  Other than that I've built drawers...still trying to build those better, of course I don't have all the tools needed to build them perfectly.... I've also built small furniture, more recently, inpired by my cabinet doors, I'm building useful space saving pieces, made primarily from reclaimed wood, or lumber I buy on sale.  I joined the community for advice and help with my projects, I've found it very helpful.
