I have a single action dust collector with a cyclone in front of it. Also have two of the dustiest saws on market ,it is a radial arm saw DeWalt 1956 and a miter saw, I have dinged around with different types of collection boxes to catch at least 75% of dust and finally came up with these ideas and only built from scrap wood.

Hi Jens, what a good idea, I want to come up with something I can use on a drill press, especially while drilling the pockets foe european hinges

Make sure you get as much of front closed in on account of the dust will blow back somewhat. And you notice I angled the bottom to hole so it has only one place to throw dust
