While working in my shop I listen to the radio, and it runs the gambit from country western, news radio, and classic rock, I was wondering what other people have on their radios.

All I listen to Ray is good old bluegrass music and if I really get into I drop everything and drag out my guitar and do some picin

For me it's Rock, no Roll...just Rock.  If i'm working on something that i need to slow down for and really pay attention I'll throw in my Pink Floyd greatest hits album and mellow out.
It's the frist thing that come's on

Our local radio station does classical rock from the 60's to 90's. Makes ya feel old when the music you listened to in your youth is now called, "classical ... music." :-)

I forgot to mention that on sundays in the fall if I'm not watching the eagles I'm listening to them on the radio, and now that spring is closing in on us it will be the phillies whenever they are playing while I'm in the shop

classic rock! sometimes modern country-sounds like classic rock somewhat. best sound is power tools, lol
If i'm in the shop it is the howling saw and screaming router. Although I like almost any flavor of music it is usually  country .  Sometimes I can hear the music  in the background playing the country tunes of the past decade.  I don't get too excited about any perticular tune as when i do the phone rings so you can't pay attention to music or the air compressor will kick on and you can't hear much more.  All in all the shop is the best place to be.  The sound of tools running is probably the most heard sound and as long as it is American made it is good.
hi ray, commented earlier, but forgot i have cable tv in the shop. so if the stero is not on im watching the history channel or discovery, dont get diy in the shop, if i could i would watch diy and military channel too. for anyone interested check out the davidson brothers- rock a billy sound. love the songs and to see them in person is great, they put on a great show. still love classic rock and modern country, no no no rap!
Rock-n-Roll, Country, Celtic, Rock-a-Billy, Lite Rock, a great CD by Steve Lee called " I like Guns" and many many mixes of other CD's. Just remember one rule: No Dancing While Makin a Cut....
Right on Jay.  What you said. "American Made"

Geoff: absolutely Pink Floyd anytime. :)

and all who said any power tool works fer me also.   OH, and definately a good timed Harley Davidson thump.....but, that is another story   :)

I listen to children screaming " CAN I???" over the good old sounds of dirty rotten old blues.

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
