Kreg Owners' Community

I purchase the Kreg Projec Hole Plans CD. I am in the process of building the workbench. However after reviewing the PDF files on the CD, it don't see the dimensions and layout of some of the parts. In particular the square end frames C, D, E. Does anybody know the LxW of these pieces. The PDF projects plan are not that well written/organized and leaves a few things out like the lumber/cut list! Any help would be appreciated or pics of owners building the workbench ((#WB02).

In the right hand column of this page you will find: Useful links - Project Plans - Step-by-Step Kreg Workbench. It will give you a complete set of plans - dimensions, cut sheet, sketches, instructions. I know because I built one, albeit I changed the dimensions to accommodate a very heavy formica covered desktop that I had on hand. There is also a video of a fellow building the same item currently on this site. Good luck!
I looked at those plans, but thats a different workbench. Here is the attached picture of the kreg workbench I am trying to build...

I built a few of the projects from the plans on the web and although I found a few mistakes (in the toy box and book shelves specifically) I thought the plans were easy to follow and well laid out. I then bought the CD you are referring too and its a whole different ball game. For a beginner like me they are way beyond my comprehension and I agree they are not well written or organized so the CD sits on the shelf.

Sorry I can't help, just wanted to let you know that I agree with your thoughts. Maybe Kreg can do a 2nd version of the CD that is more in line with the web based plans?

Well, I am an intermediate woodworker and I have problems with the fact that there is no lumber/cust list. I was hoping someone as already built this workbench and could provide some dimensions and assembly instructions. The main reason I bought the CD was this workbench.
